How to please Mercury-Buddha during its Dasha

In Vedic astrology, a Dasha is a planetary period that influences an individual’s life. The Dasha of a particular planet is considered significant, and people often seek ways to please or appease the planetary deity associated with that planet to mitigate any negative effects and enhance positive outcomes.

Mercury, or Buddha in Vedic astrology of navgraha, is associated with communication, intelligence, and business. If you want to please Mercury during its Dasha, you can consider the following:

  1. Worship and Puja:
    • Perform regular worship and puja dedicated to Lord Vishnu, as Mercury is considered the son of Vishnu in Hindu mythology.
    • Offer green gram (moong dal) and green cloth to the deity during your worship.
  2. Mantras and Chants:
    • Chant the following Mercury/Buddha mantras:
      • “Om Budhaya Namaha” (108 times daily)
      • “Om Braam Breem Broum Sah Budhaya Namaha” (21 times daily)
  3. Gemstone:
    • Wear a high-quality emerald gemstone, which is the primary gemstone associated with Mercury. Consult with a Vedic astrologer to determine if it’s suitable for you.
  4. Charity and Donations:
    • Make donations on Wednesdays, the day associated with Mercury. Offer green-colored items, such as green vegetables, green clothes, or green gram.
    • Contribute to educational causes, as Mercury is associated with intelligence and education.
  5. Fasting:
    • Observe fasts on Wednesdays to appease Mercury. You can consume green fruits, vegetables, and liquids during the fast.
  6. Yantra:
    • Use a Mercury Yantra. This is a geometric design associated with the planet Mercury and is believed to attract positive energies.
    • Place the Yantra in the north-east direction of your home or workplace.
  7. Meditation:
    • Practice meditation, especially focusing on the qualities associated with Mercury, such as intelligence, communication, and analytical skills.
  8. Seek Blessings:
    • Seek the blessings of elders and teachers, as Mercury is associated with guidance and wisdom.

It’s important to note that while these practices are based on traditional beliefs, they are not a guarantee of specific outcomes. Vedic astrology provides a framework for understanding potential influences, but individual experiences may vary. Additionally, consulting with a qualified Vedic astrologer for personalized advice based on your birth chart is recommended.
