Auspicious Yogas

  1. Gaja Kesari Yoga:
    • Formed when Jupiter is in a kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house) from the Moon.
    • Brings wisdom, wealth, prosperity, and fame.
  2. Chandra-Mangal Yoga:
    • Formed when the Moon and Mars are in conjunction or aspect each other.
    • Provides financial success and strong determination.
  3. Budha-Aditya Yoga:
    • Formed when Mercury and the Sun are in conjunction.
    • Enhances intelligence, communication skills, and success in education and business.
  4. Dhana Yoga:
    • Formed by specific combinations involving the 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 11th houses/lords.
    • Leads to financial prosperity and accumulation of wealth.
  5. Raja Yoga:
    • Formed by combinations involving kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) and trikona (1st, 5th, 9th) lords.
    • Bestows power, authority, success, and high status.
  6. Lakshmi Yoga:
    • Formed when the lord of the 9th house is strong and placed in its own or exaltation sign, and the ascendant lord is strong.
    • Brings immense wealth, prosperity, and luxury.

Inauspicious Yogas

  1. Shakata Yoga:
    • Formed when Jupiter is in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house from the Moon.
    • Causes financial instability and hardships.
  2. Kemadruma Yoga:
    • Formed when there are no planets (excluding Sun, Rahu, Ketu) on either side of the Moon.
    • Leads to mental distress, financial problems, and social isolation.
  3. Grahan Yoga:
    • Formed when the Sun or the Moon is in conjunction with Rahu or Ketu.
    • Causes health issues, mental stress, and obstacles in life.
  4. Kala Sarpa Yoga:
    • Formed when all the planets are between Rahu and Ketu.
    • Brings challenges, delays, and struggles in various aspects of life.
  5. Daridra Yoga:
    • Formed by specific combinations involving the lords of the 2nd, 11th, and 12th houses.
    • Leads to financial difficulties and poverty.

Other Important Yogas

  1. Lava Yoga:
    • Formation: When all planets (except Rahu and Ketu) are placed in four specific signs or houses.
    • Effects: This concentrated planetary energy can lead to intense experiences in the areas governed by the houses involved, bringing both challenges and opportunities.
  2. Parivartan Yoga:
    • Formation: When two planets exchange signs.
    • Effects: Can have a significant positive or negative impact depending on the involved houses and planets.
  3. Neechabhanga Raja Yoga:
    • Formation: When a debilitated planet gets cancellation of debilitation by specific conditions.
    • Effects: Transforms adverse effects into auspicious results, leading to success and prosperity.
  4. Viparita Raja Yoga:
    • Formation: When the lords of the 6th, 8th, or 12th houses are placed in each other’s houses or in their own houses.
    • Effects: Turns challenging situations into beneficial outcomes, bringing unexpected success.
  5. Panch Mahapurush Yoga:
    • Formation: When any of the five planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) are in their own sign or exaltation sign and in kendra houses.

  6. Saraswati Yoga:
    • Formation: When Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury are in kendra, trikona, or the 2nd house.
