Laxmi Aarti

The Laxmi Aarti is a devotional song dedicated to Goddess Laxmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity.

The Laxmi Aarti is traditionally performed during key times, especially:

  1. Diwali Festival – On Diwali, which celebrates wealth and prosperity, the Laxmi Puja is a highlight. Families perform the Laxmi Aarti on the third day of Diwali, usually in the evening, to invite the goddess’s blessings into their homes.
  2. Fridays – Many devotees of Goddess Laxmi perform her aarti on Fridays, which are considered auspicious for worshiping her. Devotees believe it helps bring good fortune, prosperity, and harmony.
  3. Full Moon Days (Purnima) – Purnima days are also significant for Laxmi worship, especially on Sharad Purnima, which is dedicated to her.
  4. Daily Aarti – Some people perform the Laxmi Aarti daily, particularly in the evening, to seek regular blessings of wealth and well-being in their households.

While these are popular times, you can perform the aarti anytime you wish to seek the goddess’s blessings.
