Gayatri Pooja

Gayatri, one of the most revered goddess and whose origins can be traced back to the Vedas, is worshiped most famously by the Gayatri Mantra. This yagna is performed to attain the purity in all forms of knowledge and virtues.

Gayatri pooja is a holy ceremony of worshipping the Goddess Gayatri on a peculiar muhrat. This pooja is for everyone who wants to seek blessing from a supreme deity of wisdom and prosperity.

Goddess Gayatri is also known as Veda Mata because, as per Vedic scriptures, Goddess Gayatri’s four heads represent four Vedas and the fifth head, almighty God. She is an ultimate embodiment of knowledge and wisdom, and she gives the blessing of guidance, morals, prosperity, protection, and health.

Gayatri pooja is an extended pooja with complex rituals and procedure that has to be performed under the guidance of highly knowledgeable priests. It includes a particular number of chants of the Gayatri mantra.

With the Gayatri mantra, the lord sun is also associated who brings enlightenment and abundance in life as a result of worshipping him faithfully.

People perform Gayatri pooja in various sets of days like one day, 11 days, 21 days, and 48 days pooja ceremony.  Priests and hosts of this pooja perform various sthapnas, invocation of key deities, Gayatri chants, abhishekas, neivedhiyam offering, and many series of rituals as a part of this prolonged pooja.

One can achieve his desires, guidance, removal of obstructions, protection from negative energies, forgiveness from the past life and current life’s sins, and great blessings by performing Gayatri pooja.

Goddess Gayatri holds a paramount place in Vedic texts, and worshipping her can surely bring sharpness and intellect with profound sanity in life.
