Durga Maa Navami Pooja

From one or two to long patterns of Diyas can be placed to celebrate Lord Ram’s victory and enlighten the house for positive spiritual energies.

Diyas are one of the essential parts of the Diwali celebration. Not only does it brighten the place but it spreads positivity and divine energy in the environment and makes the place cheerful and pure.

What Is Diya?
Diya is a clay lamp that needs to be filled with oil to lighten the cotton wick. As per the Sanskrit language, ‘deep’ means Diya and ‘avali’ means row; therefore, the row of lights and Diyas are integral parts of Diwali. Earlier Diyas used to be natural and basic, but nowadays, there are so many varieties and creative options available in the market.

Colorfully decorated and painted Diyas are common to find in Indian households during Diwali decorations along with other decor elements such as rangoli, flowers and festive hangings.

Diya Decoration:
Decoration of houses, offices and temples are incomplete without Diyas. Therefore, people usually buy different kinds of Diyas, lights, and candles prior to Diwali day and start the festival by illuminating their place from the Dhanteras day.

Series and rows of electric, natural, modern, creative, colorful, environment friendly and attractive Diyas can be seen everywhere during Diwali time. Some people hand paint their Diyas by themselves and experiment with some exciting DIYs as well to make their decoration more attractive.

From one or two to long patterns of Diyas can be placed to celebrate Lord Ram’s victory and enlighten the house for positive spiritual energies. Moreover, clean, bright and illuminated houses also bring strong festive vibes and celebrate joyful times.
