“Shree Ram Chandra Krupalu” is a devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Ram, an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. It is attributed to the great poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas, who composed many works in praise of Lord Ram, most notably the “Ramcharitmanas”.
“Shri Ramachandra Kripalu” or “Shri Ram Stuti” is a Stuti (Horation Ode) verse from the his work called Vinaya Patrika, written by Goswami Tulsidas. The hymn is often recited in praise of Lord Ram’s virtues and his deeds as described in Hindu epic literature, especially the Ramayan. It was written in the sixteenth century, in a mix of Sanskrit and Awadhi languages. The prayer/ode glorifies Shri Rām and his characteristics to the best.
This hymn extols the various attributes and virtues of Lord Ram, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, urging the devotee to seek his blessings and refuge. It highlights Ram’s beauty, compassion, valor, and his role as the destroyer of evil. Reciting this hymn is believed to bring peace and spiritual well-being to the devotee.

श्री रामचंद्र कृपालु भजमन हरण भवभय दारुणं ।
नव कञ्ज लोचन कञ्ज मुख कर कञ्ज पद कञ्जारुणं॥ १ ॥
कंदर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरं ।
पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं॥ २ ॥
भज दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकन्दनं ।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कोसल चन्द दशरथ नन्दनं॥ ३ ॥
सिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक चारु उदार अङ्ग विभूषणं ।
आजानु भुज शर चाप धर संग्राम जित खरदूषणं॥ ४ ॥
इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर शेष मुनि मन रंजनं ।
